But I didn't want to miss the opportunity to tell you all about our special little one at 2 years old. She is still tiny. Which is why we call her "Little One" and it seems to make everything about her even cuter. Her eyes are gorgeous. Blue, round, and full of dark thick and long eyelashes thanks to Daddy's genes. Such a gorgeous baby.
Speaking of babies, she LOVES them! Every time she sees one she says "Ohhh cute baby!" even if the "baby" is older than her. It will be interesting to see what she thinks of having a baby sister. She is pretty much a momma's girl and loves to be held. She is so sweet giving kisses and hugs before bed and anytime you leave the house.
She loves to jump and says "jump" while she does it. Her feet pretty much leave the ground. She is awesome on a Sit 'n Spin despite the fact she can't handle spinning very well. When The Artist spins her he has to go so slow because she gets dizzy so easily. She loves to run, especially after a bath towards Daddy to tell him goodnight.
When she wakes up from a nap or in the morning she has to try to pick up ALL of her stuffed animals, sippy cup, and blankets in preparation to get out. Since she insists on sleeping with so many toys and blankets this task is pretty much impossible for her tiny little arms and so she gets really frustrated.
She loves animals and stuffed animals. She knows pretty much all of the animal sounds. She loves cuddling with soft toys/dolls and says "Awww" anytime she hugs them in the cutest voice. She loves all of the Disney Princess and can say all of their names. I think Tiana is her favorite, though I'm not sure why. She loves to put her toys to bed and covers them with blankets and tells them "Night Night".
She likes to completely undress her self, spread out her legs and arms while shaking her bum back and forth while saying "Shakey, shakey, shakey!". Soooo funny! I have a really hard time keeping a diaper on this kid.
Her favorite song in nursery is "The Wise Man Built His House Upon a Rock" and likes to do the hand motions with it. She also likes "Wheels on the Bus" and "Head Shoulders Knees and Toes". She likes to dance around with her sister and jump on their beds together. She has finally learned to go up and down our stairs but her legs are just barely long enough now!
Her favorite movies are Elmo, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Winnie the Pooh and Nightmare Before Christmas. In fact she loves Jack and Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas (not MY choice but her sister got her hooked!). She loves to read and look at books and brings us books to read to her several times a day.
Her little best friend is Kolin and they are so cute together. She also loves her "Sissy" and asks where she is at times when she is sleeping or at school. She tries to do everything like Sissy. She is definitely 2, asserting her independence and has that perfect mischievous smile for a toddler. She is a girly girl loving jewelry and cute shoes.
She is sensitive to when someone is sad/hurt and comes to give them a hug or pat their back saying "Oh sad!".
We love her so much and "ooh and ahh" over the cute things she says/does almost daily. We can't imagine our loves without her and so grateful she is a part of this family!
